Whats the significance of wearing rings on different fingers?

Obviously the 'ring finger' is for your commitment ! but what of the others ?

I studied palmistry for awhile so the best I can do is tell you what each finger stands for and then you can come to your own conclusions.

First, the hand that you write with is your ACTIVE hand, meaning that is the one sending out energy. The other hand is your PASSIVE hand, meaning that is the one receiving energy. If you happen to be ambidextrous, then each hand shares in both, but usually even in those people, they tend to still use one hand more then the other.

Ok, now fingers.
Thumb: planet Venus, represents love, passion, maternal/paternal love
Index: planet Jupiter, represents your beliefs and philosophy, how you view the world, and the codes you live by.
Middle: planet Saturn, represents discipline and structure, firmness, your ability to make yourself do those things that you need/must do.
Ring: planet Sun, represents your self image, self esteem, your confidence and through that your relationship to others and how they view you and how you portray yourself to them so they see you a certain way. It's your ego.
Pinky: planet Mercury, represents communication and your ability to speak what you feel needs said. How you communicate with others and interpret what others say to you. Freedom of speech.

As I understand it when you put a ring on a finger, you are either bringing in or sending out the particular energy that finger represents. The other planets rule different parts of your hand where you can't put a ring.

I've heard that wearing a ring on your pinky finger means you're indepedent, or something along that line. Free, single, something like that. My ex started wearing pinky rings after our divorce. hahahahaa
