he rolls it most of the way down, but there is still like an inch or two that is bare near the base. Is this ok?

Is he not rolling it down all the way because it is to small or just because he doesn't want to. if it is the later, tell him to finish putting it on. if it is to small, he needs to buy bigger ones. either way, he needs to be covered all the way, or it could slip off or break very easily.

Buy another brand of condoms. Most brands are good for about 10", which go all the way down to the base.

the magnum xl is longer so itll cover everything. not just the magnum, its gotta be the xl one
