I was either 13 or 14 and there were six of us, three girls and three guys swimming at a friend's pool. The guys started fooling around and ended up pulling each other's bathing suits down. It was the first time that I had seen a guy naked (a real guy, not a picture) and I was amazed by how different each guy's dick looked in terms of size, shape, etc.
They stayed that way until one of them started to get hard (probably from the excitement of being naked in front of girls) and embarrassed, then they all pulled their suits back up.
Of course, guys being guys, they tried to convince us that it was now our turn and "only fair" that we take something off too. As expected of young teenaged girls, we told that that they were gross and disgusting...and kept ourselves totally covered.
Little did I know that a few years later I'd start going to nude beaches and love every second of it!

It's really not as big a deal as you're making it out to be.
I've seen my little brother all the time when he was being bathed from infancy to about 7yo. when he loved to freak everyone out by running naked from the shower.
