Why would a teacher do this to someone?

Yes. I don't know why she did it, but I honestly believe she was racist. My goodness, She said my friend wasn't a Jew because she didn't look like one (my friend at the time was in 1st grade). She almost got fired because of this statement. Then she moved to 4th grade teacher, where she accused me (the half breed in her opinion) and my other two friends (one was black the other asian) of cheating eventhough we were sitting at opposite sides of the room. She said we weren't smart enough to get our A's without cheating.
She eventually got fired.

i may have been... can't quite remember. Although i can remember when our class was bad for a substitute teacher, the principle wud come in the next day and yell at all of us and we had to really try and keep a straight face (it's hard for some reason) because if you didn't he'd be like 'do u think this is funny? maybe if i give you detention you wont think it's so funny' ... not those exact words but something like that.. and it was very hard to keep a straight face... i really don't know why... :)

Teachers are human beings. Some of them become teachers for reasons other than a desire to educate children; like where else can you get a job where you work eight to four, nine months a year? It's hard to face but true.
