You cant actually think they make contact do you? And of course it would be crazy not be wearing a jock while wrestling.

As a former wrestler myself, you might be surprised to know that most wrestlers do not wear a cup (they can pinch). Low blows are USUALLY okay (if done right), but some things just cant be helped, for example crotching on the top turn buckle or falling onto the top rope, those ... sting, is probably the best way to put it. We're just willing to put up with it for the sake of the match and it pretty much something you just deal with. Since the knock on wrestling is being "fake", so many people just ignore the fact that a lot of the stuff really does really hurt. You can try to protect yourself alot on some stuff but often it is an uncomfortable landing.

I saw an interview years ago with Chyna. She said that she never made contact with any of the wrestlers when doing a low blow. I am sure that accidents do happen, but if all goes according to plan, no.

If they do it right, NO. But I'm sure accidents happen some times.
