u don't know how much u mean to me, whenever u down u know that u can lean on me, no matter the situation, "im gonna hold u down" <-- i couldnt understand why would she wanna hold 'u' down?? while she said whenever u down, u know that u can lean on me

she probably means that once she gets her claws on you that your career is going to head to the toilet. she's trying to make sure you don't succeed in life beyond her.
