Being able to express oneself is expressiveness (How one carries along his values, beliefs etc. without hurting others). This is an important talent expected in job interviews, sales pitches, marketing, etc. Over-expressiveness becomes bragging or boasting.

Openness is frankness, or telling the truth without hesitation. Children and some adults are very open and frank in their thoughts. They have less inhibitions in saying what they truly feel without hiding the emotions.
