My suggestion would be to strip the bed, vacuum thouroughly on all sides, after vacuuming up two tsp of salt into bag. Take a one liter plant mister of water and mix in 20 drops of Tea Tree Oil ( essential oil available from health store). Shake the mixture really well and spray all over mattress. Let sit one hour repeat. You can wash the bedding with hot water and 20 drops of Tea Tree Oil too. I have used this for years to kill spiders, roaches, silver fish and other insects. This is a natural product that also smells clean. I would repeat at least once a week until you can;t see any more bedbugs.

Throw away mattresses and pillows, and change all sheets and pillowcases frequently. I would even take the bed frame outside and hose it down.

hey len you poor thing! years ago people would say throw everything material out and burn it, all i can suggest is call your local pest controllers they will have the best answers. but when you do get rid of them opt for a no carpet policy in your house for all types of critters then you can put rugs down. good luck with it all
