how to make sure my laptop is safe and in good condition?

have assurance that you keep it in a good place. like on your work place, make sure that nothing is on top of your laptop. avoid placing it on unstable areas where it can have the tendency to fall. avoid pointing your finger on its screen so that it wont ruin the LCD. make sure that the work place is clean. i know that we cannot avoid to eat while in front of the laptop but make sure that you are not that clumsy to pour any kind of liquid on your laptop. for its performance..make sure that you defrag it once a month if your files are getting big..if you are connecting to the internet too much, always secure anti spywares and anti viruses to keep your laptop free from them. there are free stuffs on the net but it sure is better if you save a few $ for legal security of your laptop. if the files are for your eyes only then avoid lending your laptop to anyone..if your kids, if ever you have any, or friends want to use it..its really up to you but for safety and precautions just dont let anyone touch it without your permission...these are just basics..i'm sure as time goes by, you will discover more ways to secure your laptop depending on your lifestyle...
