like talking to the dead stuff like that? cause I just made my own and happy about it, just knowing I made it myself is a treat.

can you take it to a haunted places so you can talk to who ever it is that is haunting the house.hotal and so on?

and no i'm not talking about that fake tv show the ghost hunters LOL.

plus did you make your own as well and did it help you?

My first pendulum was gifted to me. My second I bought from a wiccan store. Both have their good and bad points, but on the whole, they both work pretty well.

If you've read Phil Pullman's "his dark materials" series, I think that best describes what it is I think I am talking to when I use them. It's an energy that is all around us that has the power to come through certain divination tools. Put whatever title you want on the energy.

It can be remarkably accurate, and is one of the few oracular devices that is capable of giving yes / no answers (that's what I like about it). But just like everything, you get out what you put in.

How could a pendulum possibly contact a demon or anything else? It's not possible by any means. I have used pendulums many times and there honestly is no way to contact anyone with them. I currently live in a haunted house with a ton of activity and the pendulum does not work at all to talk to anyone. All you do is ask a yes or no question and the pendulum either stays still or it moves. It's not even capable of anything beyond that.
