Has anyone ever had an experience with the paranormal as a child?

One of my very first memories is an encounter with what I think or thought was a ghost.I was around three years old at the time. When I saw it I wasn't scared at all but a feeling of safety and comfort came over me and then it disappeared. It's one of the strangest things that has happened to me. I've heard that children are more prone to experiences like these because they're minds are so vulnerable and open.

Sounds like what happened to me when I was about 8. I always thought it was an angel. It certainly looked like one.
