my cousin is going to get married to a man who just might be a goof ball. don't get me wrong, when it comes to his life he's pretty much straight in everything; own car, place, great paying job etc. but then when his out in public the man is just a kid. a typical kid. its pretty frustrating/scary at times to walk with the dude down the road cause you just dont know what stupid thing he might do next. all in all he's a great guy. but ladies, with all seriousness, would you be in a relationship with a big kid even though he loved you dearly and would take care of you for the rest of your life?? personally, i think theres going to be lots of fun in there marriage but then too much of anything is bad. so im just curious to know what you guys think

Why is this an issue for you??? He sounds wonderful. Now days people (like you) are way to serious and don't know how to relax. I bet she finds it refreshing that he is the way he is....I can imagine he will make a wonderful Daddy some day.

I get the idea that this question is geared towards women, about childish men. But my type of woman IS a bit childish in ways, as long as she has the important things in life straight. To be goofing off in public is just personality, not necessarily an imperfection. Just different. And different is what makes us fall in love with who we end up falling in love with, right? If it worries you, perhaps you should talk to your cousin about it, and she may put you at ease. Probably you'll just have to accept that she's attracted to different men than you are. Most of my male friends wouldn't put up with the girls that I fall head over heals for! But their gfs and wives are so serious and, to me, boring. So to each his(or her)own.

I married a big kid. And he is the best thing that ever happened to me. While I am not a "big kid" I lighten up and play too! I could care less about what other people think because me and him are in our own little bubble. To heck with the rest of the world that doesnt like it.

I think you are being seriously nosy if she is happy and he anit abusing her then leave it be, she may like him the way he is. My brother is a goof ball and i wonder why anyone would want him but he is married with 5 kids so never can tell.
