Once you get to a certain age, you have to do what makes you happy and to hell with what is "right". You live only once.

Ok my example will be if I am in a store and I see something I want to buy...
I will either do one of two things...
I will either go home and think about it to see if I really needed to spend the money on that item or not, and really give it some thought as to if it will improve my life any or be worth the price...
Or I could buy the item right now while I stand there and that would be because I feel it is right for the reason I want it...
That would have nothing to do with money then, only that the item is good for me and why I want it...
So it all boils down to how important the item is to you and if it fills a need or void in your life...
My choices incidentally, will average 50/50 on my decisions...

You have hit my life on the nail head.
It is something I battle myself over every night. So far I am choosing the right, and I am pretty sure it is killing me slowly, but I already tried choosing the happy and quickly found that I could not live inside me like that.
It is a waiting game I play and sometimes it is harder than other times.
This is verexhausting and i think I shall go to bed now

For me, what's in my gut- there's a voice called instinct, I try to listen to it, sometimes it is very difficult though. We all have a separate instance of what is right and wrong and if I may speak freely, I think ethics is part of it as well- how our morals stand up in this day and age.
