Before u move out, take a look at the things your parents have accumulated around the house.
You're going to want to get the small things that u don't need all the time - but when u do, you need it right then.
Toothpicks, a roll of twine, electrical tape, extra light bulbs, candles and matches, mop, bucket, plunger, first aid supplies; eye wash cup, peroxide, rubbing alcohol, small sewing kit, tool kit, extra extension cord - things like that.
Good Luck, Have Fun

ok i moved out of home 2 years ago and in the 2 years before that i started to buy my towels sheets basically everything i'd need an my linnen cupboard, then i started on the kitchen things that i used in my parent's kitchen. in the 6 months before i moved out i started on all the cleaning products from the laundry to the shower and loo! what about curtains? you don't want to be putting sheets on your windows. start looking now for boxes to move things with cause i will guarentee you that when you move everyone else will be moving too and it will be hard to find boxes. good luck!

Money for telephone, cable, internet, trash pickup, water, gas, electricity.
You will need garbage bags, cleaners, laundry detergent, hand soap, storage containers, a vacuum cleaner, a first aid kit. I know there is a ton of other stuff, but I can't think of them now. Here's a link...

Pay attention to your daily routine in the next couple of weeks and notice everything you use. If you can't picture yourself living without it, then write it down; keep a list.
Money! Money! Money!
