Age isn't really much of an issue with guys.
I'm 25 and hang out at the gym or beach with my cousin who's 16, its cool. I also hang out with my uncle sometimes who's 37..
We get along great and joke around alot.

Definitely not for the 19 year old. On a college campus, it'd be perfectly normal, as you may very well be in the same classes/organizations etc. It's not strange with the 17 year old guy either....although, him being a minor may limit certain outings :-\

Mentally there is no age gap between guys aged 16-25. As long as they get along, it's not strange.

Hey not at all. I have friends that are 10 to 15 years my junior. I am 40. If you have the same interests and get along there is no reason you can't be friends. Heck my mom had a good friend who was young enough to be her daughter. So no it is not strange at all.

No. My son is 16 and hangs out with older guys because he works. He is no longer into the school thing. The age gap ain't that drastic!

Age gap is nothing as long as both have common interest

its not! age difference is not a reason why can or cannot befriend a person!
remember, you are being friends with them because you have something in common with them. they just might learn something from you, and vice versa! so go on, don't let the age gap bother you!

I don't think so. Not as long as the 22 yr old isn't trying to make the younger guys do things they shouldn't or something....but I don't think that's too much.

Sometimes the older guy is the role model they need. People need friends of different ages for different roles in their lives, some to goof off with, some to be serious with and some to confide in. They might be his goofing off friends and males like goofing off lol so I wouldnt worry, its normal.
