many blood pressure medications are notorious to cause unexpected heart attack. Beta blockers for instance. All of them have some side effects. and most medications become ineffective after some time, where you may have to taken higher strength tablet.
And recently, it is found that hypertension medications cause diabetes, if not suffering from already.
Lastly, many of them are addictive,where if you leave them, you will get rebound pressure.

I don't think there are many , if any , negative ones on this one, but there are plenty of good ones because hypertension, left untreated, could be fatal. I urge you to take this medication, because if it has been prescribed for you there has to be reasons why you need it. I have been taking mine for 3 years so it is doing what is supposed to.

Blood pressure medications tends to make you swell, give you cotton mouth, can make you dizzy, sleepy, cause you to be a "bleeder" or bruise easily.
