how do you write an interveiw ?

please im desperatly trying to write an interveiw with an author please help

only one question so far: was there personal meaning behind the storyonly need to be in depth

You really ought to be familiar with their work and/or life. Try reading the interviews at The Review of Contemporary Fiction.

Need more info!! What have you got so far? Which author? Do you just want to do a simple Q&A?
Good questions to ask any author are usually:
Where do you find inspiration?
Do you really write what you know?
Should the reader know anything about your personal life to understand the book?
Did you always want to be a writer?

Et cetera....

Or have you interviewed them already and you want to know how to make the interview into an article? Sorry, not enough to go on in your question.

If i've got been giving an task like this, i could positioned it script-essay type. ok.. you ask a query and the character responds in some sentence or a paragraph. occasion: You: what's your functionality is interior the play? character: i'm the guy it somewhat is the foil to this guy or woman and .... I on no account examine "Twelve indignant adult males", so i do no longer understand the characters. yet i wish this enables.
