I'm going into my junior year of high school and i'm currently in geometry as of my sophomore year and having an A. I want to get into Calculus by senior year, but am unsure of what to take over the summer; Math Analysis or Algebra 2? What helps you get ready more for Calculus?

Math Analysis, it's like pre-calc. You will learn some much needed trig. and a lot of algebra. So it's like a class that has a lot of subjects wrapped into it and it definitely will help you more.

well... alg 2 has a lot of new concepts that are different from geometry and alg1, and math analysis, aka pre-calc, is more in-depth alg2 and maybe with several new things such as sequences, series, probability, matrices, polar.....

you will need the complex graphs and trig that math analysis offers you such as polar stuff- you will need this for calc BC but not for AB

However it is best i think to take alg 2 just to learn the new concepts, because in my opinion Calc AB does not need either one of those courses- it just needs a basic understanding of functions, and graphs

attempt "Div, Grad, Curl" by way of H. M. Schey or "Geometric Vectors" by way of Gabriel Weinreich . . . those are the perfect texts on vector diagnosis . . . "Linear Algebra achieved perfect" by way of Sheldon Axler and "Linear Algebra Demystified" by way of David McMahon could desire to instruct you all you would be able to desire to renowned approximately Linear Algebra. good success. coaching your self is rather the only thank you to income.
