Now I have heard of this happening. There are no bones but there are three "muscles" if you like (although they are not technically muscles otherwise working them out would make a difference to the size of your b0ner), in the shaft and like a muscle they can tear.

As in shatter? No, but it can be damaged if it's forced down during an erection, which would also be painful. So if the bloodflow is damaged, erections will be a problem.
