As for right now there is no rule by witch an umpire can use replay to overturn a call on the field. They do however have a department that looks at every single call an umpire makes and they grade him on weather or not he or she made the right call in the game. If the umpire fall below a certain level they can be let go by major league baseball, umpires are right over 98% of the time so don't worry. Any rule change has to voted on by the owners and players, so it would have to be changed before the start of the season. I do think having replay to see if its a home run is the only place re play should have in the game.

Umpires cannot all the times give decisions based on television replays. If the umpire has any doubt he can refer the same to 3rd umpire and he gives the decision after seeing the television replays.

On-field umpires for Test matches and one-day international matches are currently only entitled to call for a television replay through the third umpire for the following:
Run-out appeal;
Stumping appeal;
Hit wicket appeal;
Bump-ball catches;
Boundary decisions (whether a boundary is scored and whether it was 4 or 6); and
Which batsman makes his ground first when both batsman run to the same end in a run out situation.
The continued use of technology is constantly being reviewed by the International Cricket Council (ICC).

the game will become too technical and loose it's spirits for people to enjoy except in a few cases which are already being employed.
