Have more than one project you're working on at a time. That way, when you get bored with one project, you work on another. Eventually you'll want to get back to the other one again. Having 3 at a time works well.

Also, if you outline your story properly and it works well, it will keep you enthused. Too many writers write it as they think of it, with no end in sight. It's easy to hit dead ends this way.

Write a clear, concise outline, beginning to end of your story. Have a beginning, introduce your character and plot and time and place. Outline the middle, what happened to whom and why and the end, checking your outline to tie up any loose ends.
Writing without an outline is like making a long trip through unknown territory without a map. You will get lost and frustrated. One thinks they can keep up with their characters and plots and subplots, but the outline will help keep you focused and give you direction. A large "wipe off" board is very handy for this. Set it up vertically next to your writing space and do your outline, Have a heading for each chapter and about 3 lines for each heading. Add, subtract and move events as you progress with the story. Write fleeting thoughts in one corner and refer back to them.
This will work for your 1/2 written stories. Outline them and see what you have so the new outline will flesh out the rest of the story.

The trick of writing is sticking to it. Many people can write, but can't get through a story.

One tip is to work on a few screenplays at one time. Then when you run into a wall with one, work on the other.

Another tip that works for me is to set a daily goal such as one scene, or 5-10 pages. Then there's an end in sight each time you sit down to write.

The best advice I ever got in this regard came from a self help book. I can't think of the title but it goes something like this: "Work, but work slowly. The idea you have in your head, of sitting down and writing constantly for days and days on end is not a happy picture. So, we tend to think of excuses and procrastinate. Eventually the project never gets completed. Think about starting slowly. Do your work in little chunks to keep from getting restless with the whole project. If it's done in this way, it will eventually get done."

I know it sounds lazy, but for some people who aren't able to stay excited about their ideas, it's the best thing to do.

Outline the script in a three-act structure and include your initial incident, two plot points, climax and denoument. You can learn more about all that by reading Syd Field's books on screenwriting (though don't get too hung up on his insistence of having certain things occur on specific pages).

Other than that, you just have to slog through it. Writing is harder work than most people realize. Someone once said that writing is easy; all you have to do is stare at a blank piece of paper until drops of blood form on your forehead.

If you have problems sticking to a single story, perhaps you should accept that you have more than one story in your head. Do not restrict yourself to writing one story at a time and think you have to finish it before writing another. I do this, and although it leads to many unfinished projects, it allows me to continue with my original story since I have sorted out all my other ideas. Do not be afraid of what is inside of you. You are more creative than you think my friend.
