I actually do have UNC winning the whole thing. But in this thing, you never know. It seems upsets happen all the time and anyone can win on any given day.
But saying that, UNC has depth and Coach WIlliams says it best when he says that his 7,8,9 guys are probably going to be better than other teams (Sports casters have been saying this all year.) UNC is young, but they have great leadership in Tyler, and Terry.
But this will be the first true test for these freshmen. (Yes, the ACC tourney was a test, but this is the Big Dance) If Ty Lawson can play like he did in the ACC, not having many turnovers, and lots of assists, and Brandon Wright and Ellington keep progressing then watch out for the Tarheel Blue.
Not only that but what about Wes Miller and all those guys coming off the bench? Miller is deffinatly a game momentum shifter, coming off the bench and hitting a few threes, and then shifting the momentum to UNC's favor in the Championship game of the ACC. Watch out for moments like that.

UNC beat NC State with their depth, and NC State will probably win the NIT, so they're not a really bad team, they just were victim of a tough ACC conference. They did have some quality wins throughout their season, however, and aren't pushovers.
But because of their depth, UNC can head to head outmatch both Ohio State and Kansas. So it comes down to UNC and Florida, really, both really deep, both athletic. UNC might not be as athletic as Florida, but they're athletic enough to keep up with them at least.
I don't think anyone on Florida's roster has ability to stop Tyler Hansbrough, including Noah who gives up alot of pounds to TH, and if they double him up, that would mean someone else is open. UNC showed in the ACC tourney that they can get production from all 5 of their starters, as well as their bench.
There isn't another team in the NCAA that matches up with Florida or UNC on paper, but that's teh beauty of the NCAA. Anything can happen!

In none of my brackets (I've have several using different trains of thought), do I have UNC going all the way. In most of them they lose in the regional Semi's to Texas. If Texas brings their A- game they will do very well, but they are young and kinda a "feast or famine" team. I do agree Wisconsin will/should do very well. I think they are tired of living in the shadow of Ohio State, the only problem is their post play without their one starter who's out with that elbow injury.

I doubt it with the trouble they had with a second rate N.C. State team that was tired from playing 4 games in 4 days, I think they would be the last number 1 seed to look for. My money is they get K.O.ed by Texas or Georgetown.

i think if UNC peaks with their depth and team speed they have a very good shot at winning it all. they can certainly score as well as anyone. they protect the ball well and they shoot free throws well. defense against the big man may be suspect but they are number one to beat Florida in my brackets.

I accept as true with coach. i might take FSU with the factors using fact they have maximum of large athletes with extra speed than UNC can handle. traditionally FSU has ruled NC and that i do no longer see that changing this night the two.
