Depends on what you want to do with it. I personally don't recommend using a new mic for feedback as your text implies you may want to do, but that's up to you.
So give a little more information on what you're using the mic for.

buy a xbox 360 mic, and controller, then hook the controller up to ur pc and then the mic in2 the controller . i hav a 360 and i also used the mic for podcasts. It werked great 4 me. HOPE THIS HELPS!

yeah, the reason there's different types of microphones being sold is that there's one (or more) for every purpose, (singing, talking, interviewing, recording various instruments, etc) so, we need more in put! lol
