I missed my period last month (feb 23) to be exact and am now spotting about 13 days after. its been about 4 days of light spotting. I had intercourse on feb. 18, so right before my period. What can my spotting mean? Does anyone think im pregnant? should i be REALLY worried? and this is my first time ever spotting.

to get a proper pregnancy test you have to wait for the next time your periods are due, then get a test done for accurate results.......

You have a very high chance of being pregnant. You have a menstrual cycle to discharge the unfertilized egg and since you skipped your cycle & are spotting now, it would be a good idea to get a home pregnancy kit. Get the one that says you can get results in as early as 5 days before your missed period. You can do it now or just wait until approximately March 23rd to find out if you start at your regularly scheduled time, if not the chances are even higher. You did not mention your age in your question so I hope I am not explaining this to a teenager.

Spotting and the missed period could be caused by a wide range of things. Anything from stress, weight gain or loss, or change is schedule/routine.

You should see your gynecologist.

If you have been having unprotected sex and you are not on birth control, there is a possibility that you could be pregnant. You need to purchase a home pregnancy test or go to the doctor/health clinic and have one done.

If you aren't insured or can't afford pregnancy tests, you can go to your local health department or Planned Parenthood and have one done at little or no cost.

Best of Luck and I hope this information helps!

It is possible that it could be stress or infection related, but I would recommend checking with your dr about this to be on the safe side.
