I had a girlfriend who did that in Australia. Her fiance died in a car accident 3 months before the wedding. She went ahead with the big day, wedding ceremony, reception, etc... The bride, close family & friends even went to the car crash site & toasted the couple with champagne & speeches. It was more like a celebration of the life they would have had together had he still been here.
