They always say they live in the greatest country on earth, when most of them have never left their own state, let alone other countries. They always answer questions on here with purile juvenile answers, and generally force their will on the world.

Americans ARE ignorant and arrogant, and they just owe their "nation's greatness" to the ethnic cultures that have migrated to their country.. Asians excel in technology and business in the USA, Africans excel at sports in the USA, Europeans and Australians excel in the arts in the USA.. so what's great about being a true American? Nothing. They're just air heads.

How the heck would you know? I think your Brain is FRIED. Maybe meth or pot or something else. I bet i right!! I live in America and i have been to every state. I do not push anything on anyone. If you do not like Americans then go to your country and answer there. I never did anything to anyone and i am sick of being hated by ppl like you everyone complains about Americans take a look in the mirror and take a look at your own country it is no so great either.

Truth be told, when I went to Ecuador I was completely surpirsed at the racism and arrogance there. I'm not saying Ecuador is the worst or that everyone in it is racist (some of my best friends are there), but it seems that in America we definitely have a lot more tolerance towards individuals of differing colors, etc.
To be honest, I believe that is a trait typical to mankind, no matter what country they're from. Especially those who are slightly educated--it seems the very poor hunter and gather types are usually very nice (I was impressed with the Native people in Ecuador and they were extremely nice), but those with a little bit of knowledge consider themselves to know it all. It is a very interesting phenomenon.

First of all, American is not a 'race'. I have travelled to several foreign countries and I stand by my belief that the United States, despite her many problems and shortcomings, is FAR superior in just about every aspect to other countries.
As far as arrogant - if looking down my nose at some uneducated idiot on Yahoo is considered arrogant, then I am guilty as charged.

Yes there are. Some Europeans express, shout and reveal the same feeling. The truth about this is that they have just been overcome by power. Now that they realized they were wrong they try to change their way gradually, it's like making a wild dog a tamed one. Japan did it and so did Germany and other parts of the world.
