Depends where you are in the world. You'll have to check with a local clinic / hospital / doctor's surgery.

As it is a surgical procedure than it is likely that you will.

I will answer your question this way- in California and other states, my daughter who is 15 had cough drops in her backpack and she could not take them without my consent- however if she got pregnant she would not need my permission. Back wards don't you think- any other surgical procedure a minor needs a parent to sign.
Another thing- besides the abortion taking the life of a baby- there are many risks to you-
excessive bleeding, perforated or torn uterus- pain that lasts a very long time- etc. plus emotional risks to you- I counsel at a pregnancy help clinic and knows these risks- but one of the girls that answered your question- mustangmomma- had personal experience with an abortion- listen to what she is sharing.

IT ALL DEPENDS ON WHAT STATE YOUR IN AND ALSO HOW OLD YOU ARE. I BELIEVE IN CALIFORNIA YOU CAN GET AN ABORTION AT 16 WITHOUT PARENTAL PERMISSION. BUT ARE YOU SURE THAT'S WHAT YOU REALLY WANT TO DO, OR ARE YOU THINKING ABOUT IT BECAUSE YOU ARE AFRAID YOUR PARENTS WILL FREAK OUT? I AM A PARENT AND IF MY DAUGHTER CAME HOME AND TOLD ME SHE WAS PREGNANT LIKE 2 OR 3 MONTHS ALONG I WOULD DEFINITELY BE MAD, VERY MAD BUT IN THE END I DON'T THINK I WOULD WANT HER TO HAVE AN ABORTION. DO YOU KNOW THAT THEY ARE NOT ALWAYS SAFE, AND SOMETIMES IF NOT DONE RIGHT THEY CAN LEAVE PARTS IN THAT COULD CAUSE AN INFECTION LATER ON, WHICH COULD LEAD TO A HYSTERECTOMY. IF THAT WAS DONE YOU WOULDN'T BE ABLE TO HAVE ANY MORE CHILDREN. I'M NOT SAYING IT'S EASY TO RAISE A CHILD ESPECIALLY WHEN YOUR A CHILD YOURSELF, BUT YOU NEED TO DO SOME RESEARCH ON THE PROS AND CONS FIRST AND THEN REALLY LOOK DEEP INSIDE YOURSELF AND ASK YOURSELF IF IT'S SOMETHING YOUR GOING TO BE ABLE TO LIVE WITH.

Any place that wouldn't make you have a parent...you would want to stay FAR away from. These places are breaking the law most likely and probally also have no lisence to be doing this. You could get very ill and possibly die from someone who doesnt know what they are doing. Please talk with your parents...it may seem hard or way off right now. But abortion is a horrible thing. Many people want a baby and cant have one and aborting one is just sad. If you dont want to be pregnant stop having sex. Abortion is not a birth control!

the place i'm from you do no longer choose parental guy or woman for the technique, however the pill you do no longer choose permission and it fairly is painless to put in using fact it fairly is many times inserted into the vagina , have pads for the reason which you will start to bleed and clot , which skill there'll be black looking chunks popping out which could be the toddler and that i could say it may take place in the hour once you're taking the pill , i comprehend some people who've performed it and that they've no longer something undesirable to declare approximately it whether you need to would desire to take Advil or Tylenol it only relies upon on your discomfort tolerance however the pill isn't something to agonize approximately , after the technique you have a tendency to be a splash sore for some days so which you're fairly a lot extra appropriate off to easily take the pill and lay down for some hours and only relax and after which you will experience crappy for some days whether that's going to pass away and you will experience stable as new whilst the bleeding and cramping stops using fact there defiantly is a number of of cramping after taking the pill yet no longer something plenty worse then era cramps.

just from experience and hopefully no one will judge but i have had an abortion before. i was just curious if you were trying to hide the pregnancy from someone such as your parents or you just did not want a child at this time in your life? my reasoning is because abortions are not at all simple and their are risk you will be taking.

first of all, it hurts like hell to have it done. i actually had to take a valium jsut to get it done. i hurt for like a week after that with cramping and dull pains

second, about a month or so after i had it done i had to get a d&c done because i started hemorraging because whenyou have an abortion most of the time they never get it all.

third, when you are ready tohave children it puts you at alittle higher risk for premature labor.

i am not trying to change your mind, well i guess i am, i just hated to go through what i did go through and i would nver do it again. i was just wondeirng if adoption would be achoice for you???

i have 2 wonderful kids now with another on the way and giving birth was way easier than that.

if youneed to talk more please feel free to email me or message me about it!!!!
thanks

yea you do, im sure are places where you dont need concent but i wouldnt trust those places because there is a site and it shows all these woman who aborted dying. I personally wouldnt do it because you risk dying. worst case scenerio you put the child up for adoption and move on with your life.

every state has diffrent laws....and if your thinking about having one you need to tell a parent so they can help you find a good palce if you go to a bad one you can get really hurt or sick or somthing some places are not sanatary and you could get sick... so talk to a parent or a trusted adult...

That depends on what state you live in...see below

And to holilyn...in most states you don't need parental consent...unless you consider LESS than half of the states in the U.S. to be MOST states...Most states don't even require Parental Notification...

It depends on the state, but if I were to use a blanket statement, I would have to say yes.
