about a year ago i got in a tragic car accident...it was a rainy day.my BEST friend who i loved as a sister, took the car keys away from her boyfriend who was going to drive us all home after a party.she had goten mad at him and didn't want him driving her car.(yes, we were all drinking but my best friend was more intoxicted than her boyfriend) she was driving too fast. partly cuz she was a bit upset. we crashed.i got to the hospital and the doctor told me "you won't be able to walk for 4 months". i had fractured some bones. i was in bed rest all the time. never went out. i couldn't. and now sometimes i feel a little resentment towards her. i feel bad.i can't get over it. IF ONLY SHE WOULDN'T HAVE TAKEN THE KEYS AWAY...

i think because of her u had to stay in bed for full 4 MONTHS. but she did it by mistake. in a way she is ur enemy cuz she is the cause of all this{i hate to say that a frnd is our enemy}. i think that u shld forgive her. remember this: FORGIVE UR ENEMIES BUT NEVER EVER FORGET THEIR NAMES. okay !?so be her frnd, give her a chance and make her understand that what she did was wrong and what pain she has caused to u. i hope u understand that what i want to convey to u through this.

I believe that you should forgive her but that doesn't mean that you have to be her friend. Who knows if she hadn't had taken the keys you might be dead. Everything happens for a reason even if it's bad. Forgive her. Your heart will thank you for it. Plus, all of you were drunk so none of you could've been thinking any clearer than her. Drinking impairs your brain. It was her fault for driving drunk but she was impaired too. There's no excuse. I'm just saying that she didn't do it on purpose. Her selfishness got all of you hurt. She should have thought about everyone else before getting behind the wheel but her thinking was impaired. I would be upset too but I wouldn't let it take over my life by dwelling on it. Try your hardest to forgive. Everything will be alright in the end. God will take care of her when she passes.

Its the past. She never did it on purpose. Forgive her but dont forget it. I never forget what people do to me including people I love and care for. Be wary of her next time. One cannot trust your own parents then how can you trust someone else?
Let a little smile come onto you, and be happy you have a life atleast worth living for. Never allow anyone to decide things for you. If you are drunk then only you can either sleep or take a cab. That doesnt mean you hand over the keys to someone else and they crash your car and end your life. My friends also drink but never give their car for someone else to drive coz only they know how their car works. They rather take a cab or take a room nearby and crash out.
Its your life and you have to be responsible for it. Not anyone else

OK. Well yes you should be a little angry at her, for driving while she was under the influence. But also take in the fact that neither of you guys stopped her! At least nobody was killed. 2 guys i knew and my next door neighbour died last year in a car crash, and another young girl has to learn how to walk again, be glad that nothing that extreme happened to you.

What has happened has happened. If she nad not taken the key is something of the past. She would have never intended this would ever happen . To forgive is divine so forget and forgive her.let god give you speedy recovery.

everyone makes mistakes and she was intoxicated and didn't know what she was doing at that time but im sure she must be sorry for what happened, lucky you that you didnt loose a leg. forgive and forget......
