I atually think the Clippers have a little rivalry going on with the Suns, especially competitive in last year's playoffs. I'm not sure about this year. Sam Cassell will have to visit the fountain of youth. I would say the Mavericks though simply because over the last several years they have been competing for the West's best record with the Suns. Lot of history between the players on those teams as well.

I would go with the Mavericks right now. Both Nowitzki and Nash were former teammates, which adds to the drama. Also, they are questionably the two best teams in the nba right now. Again Nowitzki and Nash add to the rivalry because they are both the two forerunners of the MVP candidates and it's going to be a close race. The Lakers were a good little rivalry, but that was only in the playoffs last season.

mavs...former mavs include bell and Nash...have met each other in the playoffs for the past 2 years, each winning one...mike d'antoni copying the mavs early 2000s style of play of No D and run and gun offense and mark cuban being upset at that

the mavs for the simple reason that its 2 former teammates playing each other after they had great chemistry in Dallas, and both steve nash and dirk nowitzki have become individual superstars constantly one-upping each other, and everytime they play each other the games are insane
