I have several pairs of patent leather heels and the problem I'm having with the white, pink, and light blue ones are that the heels have brushed against the front end of the opposing shoes from the rare trip or awkward step, this has left unsightly black scuffmarks, I've tried using Goo Gone with no luck, could someone say what would remove these marks? Thanks.

With 12 grandbabies I have had this problem many times. I just put a little lemon extract (just like vanilla but lemon) on a cotton ball and wipe off the scuff marks. I use this method on my light color kitchen floor also and works like a charm. Unlike other cleaning things it will not take the shine off the shoes or the floors.
Hope this helps..

Back in the day when patent leather first came out, we used good ole' vaseline to clean those marks. It also makes the shine pretty. Just dab alittle on the shoe and use a clean cloth or paper towel and wipe till gone. Buff the shoes after to get any extra gel off.

I have used nail polish remover on my wife's shoes. I caution you to test it with a Q-TIP on a small area on the heel to see if it removes the color or the shine. If not, lightly soak a soft tissue and gently rub just the area where the scuffs are then use another tissue with warm soapy water to wash off the remover. Do not use a lot of pressure, let the remover do it's job.

I always use a damp paper towel with a little Comet cleanser, then rinse it off. I do it with scuff marks on handbags too. You might gently try a clean pencil eraser also. Good Luck!

Get an eraser. A regular old rubber eraser. And "erase" the scuff

Try windex and a soft cloth. Also search " patent leather scuffs " on the net and there are a bunch of entries.

Hi Veronica

Try using Mr. Clean Magic Eraser

It's available at most grocery stores in the cleaning products aisle. It works on a wide variety of stains, so I think it's quite likely it could save your shoes !

Hope this helps : )

facts are facts
USA led the war against Afghanistan once the soviet's union army was in Pakistan
USA brought all the extremist Islams from all the country to a base "ALQAIDAH" doing all these great tunnels in Afghanistan.giving them all these weapons which shot down 100s of Russians flights
these are facts
no one deny it
not America
