I watched Clerks 2 the other day and nobody mentioned either Caitlin or Veronica from the first movie..I found that kind of odd since Caitlin and Veronica were really important characters..what happened to them?

Caitlin probaly spent years in therapy, then moved as far away from Dante as she could get (maybe even eventually marrying the Asian design major), and Veronica got sick of playing games with Dante and moved on to bigger and better things (perhaps marrying #38).

Clerks is meant as a day in this guy's life. Clerks 2 is kind of that, too. There isn't one story arc between the two, just the same characters. Quite a few years passed between the events of Clerks 1 and Clerks 2. Do you talk about your lovers from ten years ago? It would be out of place to talk about them if they no longer have any part in Dante's life.

actually, I think Dante briefly mentions Caitlin at the beginning of the movie. not sure cause it's been awhile since I've seen the movie. go to viewaskew.com for more information. maybe someone on the board knows more.
