Yes, but then I gave him a chance.

He would meet people and then tell me he didn't like them and then change his mind about them and decide that he did like them, or he would meet someone and just think the world of them and realize that he was wrong and that actually he couldn't stand them. He went round and round like this with person after person. It was about a year before I realized I had had enough and figured out that he was living in a state of confusion and didn't know what he wanted and couldn't form a realistic opinion or make an actual lasting decision about anyone.

My mistake. Normally, I am a good judge of character from the get go.

Ya, though in most cases if I really disliked them at first I changed my opinion to outright hatred. Pretty rare to like them after. Did have a few earn my respect after though even if I didn't like them still. Jean Cretien the former Prime minister of Canada I still don't really like alot ( never hated him but never really liked him especially since he's a politician). He earned my respect though when he said no to following the Warmonger US into War. He showed me he had a spine and that Canada wasn't totally gone into bending over for US foreign policy. Made me proud to be a Canadian again for a little while. I respect the guy now, even though I don't agree with him alot.

Yes I did! I am taking a once a week sewing course and on my first day, I met this lady who came across as rude and abnoxious but as I got to know her better, she turned out to be rather sweet and very helpful in the class!

One of my best friends in high school...I miss her.

I've also had the opposite happen. I liked someone and then changed my mind after specific events, now I have to learn to like her again despite my old feelings. It's taking longer than I anticipated.

It almost seems I don't get along with people down the road if they managed to make a false initial impression of me (e.g. they thought I was vain and liked that because they were.)

At the same time, I have ended up getting along with people down the road who initially formed a false and unfavorable impression of me. Once they took the time to get to know me, then we started to get along better.

Yeah i did...

I met this guy at school and he was a real show-off.. My classmates are always talking about him that he was nice and all...

We became friends, then I knew his real attitude and then i liked him since...

We're bestfriends right now..

Why'd you ask anyway?
