HI. I am 13 and Singaporean.I want to start Ballet next year after some adjustment of my life. There is a Club nearby which offers Ballet class for Children but I don't know which class I belong to. Ballet Grade 1? I don't mind being in the children Class but I don't know how to speck to the instructor because most of them are about 7 and I am not sure if I can cope because most of them went to the primary class before Grade 1. There is also Adult Ballet Basic but I am not sure if I can take Ballet exam there because most of them just move on without taking exam. Well, I hope to be a Part-time Ballet teacher after Ballet Grade 8, so I hope to take Ballet exam. Then, can I take Ballet exam in the Adult Class? Which Class I actually belong to?( I would greatly appreciate if you were to sincerely answer my Qs) Thank you for your time and effort! I wish to build up my confidence...

I think you should take children because you are not to old. You should belong to teenager class if don't have you shold ask them weather they can open a teenager class.

that's totally high quality to be in a childeren's ballet classification. I recommend, i'm 12 and that i'm interior the 9 3 hundred and sixty 5 days old ballet. There are another ladies a three hundred and sixty 5 days youthful too so that's not that undesirable. that's going to experience fairly awkward at first, yet do no longer hassle. i could recommend to going into Ballet a million rather of two using fact Ballet a million is each and all the fundamentals so which you will comprehend ballet. no count number if it fairly is only too extraordinary or unusual or you only don't experience mushy with the extra youthful childeren, you need to verify to be certain if there's a initiating teenager ballet. that ought to in all probability be the only right situation to do. wish I helped! stable luck!

im 13 and i recently started ballet after being on break for a few years from it but i do know the ropes. you need to be in ballet 3. ballet 1 is really little kids. most ppl in ballet 3 will be a little bit younger but thats the highest class other than pointe and when you are good enough (it might take years) she will put you in pointe. but to answer your question you need to be in ballet 3.

You will have to pluck up your confidence to talk to someone at the school. Maybe their ballet school is very serious in which case as a beginner you ought to go to a more recreational school or community centre to begin to dance. But if you are experienced, then they may have an audition process to place you in the appropriate level.

in my opinion i would not go to the adult class if i were you... i am 13 and in the advanced classes and with my studio even if you have never danced b4 they put you in the advanced class if you are atleast 15... every one in my class hates that rule bcause wat happens is someone who has never danced b4 comes in and it is very frustrating bcause when you need to keep on working everyone else is going to want to move on.... i think wat you should do is start with the begining class and work your way up...
