Yes, we did. I am now 20 weeks pregnant. It can sometimes make it a little harder to tell when you ovulate, so it can make it easier and more difficult to conceive. It makes it more difficult because you do not know when you ovulate. For the same reason it makes it difficult, some people get pregnant suring that time. I am very irregular. I will go one month and two months without a period. When I found out I was pregnant I was on my 2 month cycle. I had a feeling though I was preggo. I took a pregnancy test 7 days before my missed period and it was a positive. Of course I took more than one. In fact 3 and then the urine test, and blood test, and then the ultrasound. It makes it much more difficult to tell when you are irregular. I did not have any symptoms aside from sore breast and mild crampy feeling until about 12 weeks. If you think it is possible you are pregnant I would take a test. If test does not come back positive and still do not get a period or suspect you could still be pregnant, I would go get a blood test at the doctors. Even if a woman breastfeeds, she can get pregnant. Her period my stop or slow but she still ovulates.

Yes.

Your ovaries still drop eggs just at irregular intervals. In fact, if you are particularly irregular, you can even conceive when you are menstruating. Menstruation occurs appx. 14 days after the egg is released from the ovary. If you get your period more often than once a month or if any one period follows another with much less than 28 days in between it may still be possible to get pregnant while you have your period. And just because you just ad your period does not mean you can't get pregnant.

If it is that irregular (more than a few days off a 28 day cycle), though, you may still want to talk to your OB-GYN. There could be underlying issues that affect hormone levels and they might not be so good.

its always possible to get pregnant...the only time the chance is "higher" is inbetween each period...so even if theyre irregular, theres still that chance.

yep, you sure do. I have often heard it said that if your periods are closer together then you are more fertile as you ovulate more.
