Unlike Hub switch sends the packets only to particular port of a host. How does it knows that port?

a hub is simply an ethernet splitter essentially.

A switch however when connected to another device gets teh MAC id of the connecting device and then associates that ID with an IP.
When another device, such as the dhcp server, wants to send info to that particular device the switch receives the information consults its table and sends teh info to the device with the MAC id associated with the recipient IP.
