the answer is A.
i did it the stupid way. say x=1,y=2
(2^1+2^2)^2 = 36
and 36 = 4 + 32 which is
2^2 + 2^5 (m=2or 5 and n=5or2).
in this way, B, C, D and E are certainly not the answer. :)
