Playing "King of the Hill" with my 4 brothers and sisters and a bunch of baby goats we had as pets. My Dad had built a plywood mountain for all of us to climb on and darned if those goats didn't win every time! I had a wonderful childhood compared to some and there are almost too many favorite memories to sort.

My favorite childhood memory is how all of us neighborhood kids would get together and play baseball or kickball during the day. At night during our summer vacation we would all get together and play hide and seek. None of us was bored for very long because we always had each other and we always found something to do. We all grew very close to each other and we all were best friends.

Spending Christmas with my Grandparents.
My Grandfather would dress up as Santa since he knew we would check the tree off and on throughout the night....He wanted to make sure IF we saw anything that it was Santa putting presents under the tree.

Hanging out with my brother. We used to sit by a huge honeysuckle bush when we were children and eat peanut butter sandwiches that our Mom made for us. Those were our "picnics".

Going fishing with my dad. We used to fish off the pier early in the morning. Later in years we fished in rivers in the mountains. Good memories, thanks for reminding me.
