First of all, I'd just love to know where you get the 90% figure from. You're obviously no researcher, or a person of any knowledge. So there's no sense whatsoever to your question.

As for the "Western lifestyle", maybe that appeals to us and not to the rest of the world. What do we care if it's "accepted" or not?

And finally....

Living in the United States is a priviledge. And millions come here each year to seek asylum from the rest of the world. And if you think that we're 90% "screwed up", then I suggest you pack your junk, kiss your punk, and get on the first flight out of here. We don't keep anyone who doesn't want to be here.

I don't think 90% of America is screwed up. I think 90% of America is average.

Aspects of wester lifestyles are accepted in many parts of the world. In fact, aspects of western culture has found it's way into nearly every other culture on Earth.

In these cultures you often get a backlash from some people who resent the "instrusion" however those people need to be aware that they are not held at gunpoint to adopt aspects of western culture, and those around them adopt them willingly.

your very wrong most places in europe didnt even celebrate halloween until after WWII now its getting more and more popular there along with US culture. It's a factor of the capitalist system we live under Alonso. the continual emphasis on "the economy" rather than "the people".
