Now is actually a wonderful time. I am American living in Morocco and I see many tourists from the States visiting this time of year. The temperature is perfect, not too cold and certainly not too hot yet. After June you will find much hotter weather that, for some people, simply is not comfortable.

About.com gives this information:
When to Go to Morocco
As with many destinations the weather usually determines the best time to travel to Morocco. During the winter months, from November to March, it can get quite cold and rainy especially in the Atlas mountains. Click here for average temperatures for all major towns and tourist destinations in Morocco. If you are leaving soon, check today's temperatures in Casablanca, Marrakech and Agadir.
The peak tourist season in Morocco is July and August. If you want to avoid the crowds and the heat, travel before or after this time. If you are traveling during these months then be sure to make some of your hotel bookings in advance especially along the coasts.

DEFINATELY SPRING. Everything is in bloom, even the "desert" looks a bit green.
Unless, of course, you enjoy 35 - 40°C heat, sweating too much to enjoy the trip, having to stay indoors between 12 and 4 to avoid the sun, unbearable humidity (on the coast) or air so hot & dry that the raindrops do not wet the ground (in Ouazerzate, which by the way, does NOT have any hotels with air-conditioning, or at least not when I was there. That they had no hot water didn`t bother me the least....).
If this is the case, please book your trip for August, which I unfortunately did. I`ll definately plan better next time!

It depends on which part of the country you're visiting.
Marrakesh is nice from October-May, then it begins to get too hot. Christmas is quite busy but beautiful, April is also busy.
Fez and the northern regions are best between March and May and late September-November.
If you want to visit a combination of the two, March/April or October/November are ideal - not too hot, not too cold.
Bear in mind that it gets cold in the Middle Atlas region in the winter - sometimes we even get snow.
