YESSSS!!!!!! I work with kids alot and once a 7 year old told me that she knew all about what sex was, when I scolded her for singing some sex song her mom lets her listen to! She told me--its when the penisula slides right on into the bay. Whether or not she knew what she was saying, I was feed up with it! What's up with parents these days!! AHHHH! Gosh I dunno, intelligence is great, but knowing too much when youre too young isnt! Educate kids on sex yes...but why the hell do they know about Oral parties when they are in the Middle school-- and then proceed with creating their own! Gosh, whats happening to our world!

What is innocence?

Is it lack of knowlage as in childhood, If so then there is innocence all over the world. I can't count how many people around the world have stuck thier head in the sand and don't want to listen to new things.

Is it youth, well youth is fleating. We grow up and grow old very quickly.

Is it unwillingness to do anything without your parents, what kind of a world would that be. Nobody working, nobody doing anything.

OR is it kindness, faith, loyalty, understanding. If so then yes there needs to be much much more of this in the world. But does this need to be like children, unknowlageable.

I would say that it should be more like the kindly old man, one who knows what trouble and terrors the world holds and still tries to help those who need it inspite of the world and its ideas.

I can only hope that this is what you mean.
Hope this helps.

That depends.

If the world was absolutely totally innocent and incapable of evil as a result, I would agree.

Even if not, I believe that our children need just a bit more innocence. Too many are exposed to horrible things that traumatize them.

However, in the absence of complete innocence, I would prefer for more sensibility and wisdom. These would guard you against any hurtful action or problem.

Yes, I do, but all we (parents and grandparents) can do is teach moral values, respect for one another, have compassion for the less fortunate and know the power of love.
Will all of the above result in more innocence in the world ?
Maybe not...but it's a good starting point.

We know too much. People have access to all sorts of information and propaganda. If you have children, allow them to believe in what they want even if it is only for that short time. Innocence can never be regained.

There is a lot of innocence in the world. That it is overshadowed is the curse of mankind.

I used to. Until I realized that human life is meaningless. So if every single person ont he earth was a sex fiend or if we were all virgins, it wouldn't make one bit of difference to the cosmos. We'll all still be dead within probably 1,000 years.

I sure do. It seems everywhere we look, innocence is dying sooner and become harder and harder to find.
