I have to charge my laptop few days then it works for an hour on direct supply. It’s not working without battery; I want to know the problem is in battery or in charger??

It's tough to say without more details.

I would take the battery into a shop that can test the battery. Or you could take a multimeter to it and see if it is giving off the proper voltage.

if you have had your laptop a long time then the battery would stop working as good because you can only charge a laptop battery a selct number of times so i would contact your laptops supplyer and inquire aboutt getting a new one. if the laptop is new then you will be under the one year standard warrenty this means that you can get them to replace the battery and the charger for free just ring up the maker of the laptop and tell them.

You might have a short on your motherboard.
