Maybe because of the internet connection or provider you have and because thats when everyone is online at night when they get home from work.

You didn't say what is slower at night,the pc or your internet connexion,anyway it would appear that you could have a serious spyware problem.
If your internet con is slower at night it is more than likely due to the greater number of people online in the evenings than during the day,this also applies to dsl as well as dialup.

The time of day shouldn't really matter, but geez! Still using Win 95?? I'd suggest buying a new computer asap preferably with Windows XP and then I'd upgrade to Vista later on.

Your computer will run slower the longer that it's on. That's because the programs you use all use some of your RAM. When you close the program, not all of the RAM is freed up. You can get a program that will help with that, or you can reboot your computer after a couple of hours.

How much stuff do you have on your computer..pictures...movies,music all on your computer make it slower..what kind of programmes do you have that you actually use.how often do you defragment your computer and do disk clean up ?..delete your cookies..temporary files..off line files in your control panel.. there are more people on line at night.just some things to think about...good luck!

That is weird because it should be faster at night. Get Microsoft Vista. It's the best.
