I had sex for the first time with my fiancee and we used protection but now I'm kind of nervous I could be pregnant. I took two preg. tests early on, but the results were negative. But I spotted a little, I have had my period once after that, and then 2 months later, nothing. I am starting to cramp too. I don't know what's going on?

I don't know how "early on" you took the two pregnancy tests but to have the best chance of an accurate result you should have waited until at least two weeks after intercourse to take the test. If you took them earlier chances are they would not have been accurate either way - even the tests that proclaim you can use them 5 days before your period is due etc. If you have conceived but the embryo has not yet implanted no home pregnancy test will show a reliable result.

If you have had a period (red, slippery flowing blood) since you have had intercourse and then have not had sex after this then there is an extremely high chance that you are not pregnant.

You don't mention what your protection/contraception was - if it was hormonal (pills, injections, implants etc) then these can throw your normal cycle into chaos. If it was condoms then it is likely that the delay in your period could be down to stress and anxiety.

If you haven't had a period in awhile and are starting to cramp chances are it's your period on its way.

If your period still doesn't show up after another week, you could try another home pregnancy test or visit your doctor for a beta hCG blood test.

Well seeing as though you used protection, you should be fine - but there could have been a problem with the method you used. If your stressing you may be pregnant, that stress may cause your period to be late. If your home pregnancy test says negative and it was taken after your perios was due then there is an extremely low chance you will be pregnant.. good luck.

If you really think you are you should take another Test. My wife used EPT both times and they were right. She was pregnant. But we never use protection. Don't things like worrying mess up your cycles? Whatever it is you should get it checked out. Two months is kind of pushing it wether you are pregnant or not.

If you haven't had a period in 2 months...take another test. You should get a pretty accurate result from that. You can also just be stressed. Are you the one with the protection (pill, shot, etc)? If so, it can just be your body getting used to it.

wait for another 2 weeks and get a test done for your satisfaction, but i think that you're just overreacting cuz u used protection, and it's not possible that you're pregnant, i think you're stressing yourself too much with this issue and tht's the reason y you're periods are delaying

Just make the short trip to the doc office without him knowing or even with him a get blood taken, your blood level will be nearly double if you are.. if so congrats... but more than lily you are causing it all to yourself being so worried and stressed about being pregnant.

Get the test and pee on the stick - you probably took the other two tests too soon
