1. Causes of refraction: bending of light as it passes between materials of different optical density. The change in speed and wavelength at the boundary between two materials causes light to change direction

2. You see yourself wearing green, means the lightwaves being reflected to ur eyes is green.

3. Outer ear: Collection & filtering of the soundwaves (not much function)

middle ear: has Eardrum (tympanic membrane) & Three small bones (ossicles) for amplification of soundwaves

inner ear: labyrinth of the ear, contains organs of the senses of hearing and equilibrium is to transport vibration of the soundwaves through the organs to signal the brain (nerve impulses)

The difference of density of the medium through the wave travels. When you wear green shirt the green color is reflected and other 6 basic colors are absorbed. In white color every thing is reflected. In black color every thing is absorbed.Reflection is nothing but 100 % refraction. The mirror reflect the light wave 100 %. The same way the solid rock reflects the sound waves. The seismic waves are reflected and refracted according its behaviors. The primary wave will get only refracted when the medium changes. But the secondary wave will get reflected when it touches the liquid surface .There fore several other waves are created during earthquakes. The L wave and the R waves are reflected and refracted waves. I do not know much about human ear.

1. The different wave lenghts of the colour spectrum causes refraction when light enters a different medium.
2. Green light is reflected and all other colour light is absorbed
3.No time for the ear now - good luck

refraction is caused by a change in the speed of light in a single material, i.e., scintillation or mirages on hot days, or when crossing into a different material, i.e., when going from air to water or glass:
