Ya, all the time. I know what some of the missing bits are. I know some has to do with people who are missing in my Life. Loved ones that have passed on, and Loved ones that are not in my life. Some of the more than has to do with what is outside our normal perceptioon of everyday reality. The fact that matter doesn't really exist ( how many times will they split particles before they realize there ARE NO PARTICLES, just energy, time and space, and I kinda think Time is just another form of energy or maybe space is another form of time or space maybe is another form of energy or something like that. any case I think it's binary and only 2 things exist. Thought is one of the above by this definition, and we are as much a part of it all as anything. I think alot of the missing is the other half of the binary that we cannot grasp because we are of the other half. Maybe when we die we become part of the other half... Guess I'll find out sometime anyways. I kinda think I know the basics of it all at any rate. The missing bit is that 'other thing' and when you need it the most it will be 'right there'. So ponder it if you want, just don't stres over it. We are here to enjoy life. That is the meaning of it all. Have fun.

I feel like that a lot lately since I am home every day from my disability...

I have been out of work almost 5 years now and it is more boring being at home all the time than I ever thought it would be...

I always do the same things also...
I see my husband off to work, I clean up after him in the bathroom, I watch TV, I eat breakfast, I take my dog outside,
I feed my cat and I go back to sleep for a while...
I get up and do house cleaning, then go run any errands
I need to...

But it is exactly the same every day...
If no cars were on the street, I could do it all blindfolded...
Trouble is I am not having fun being off from work because
I do hurt all the time...

So it is no picnic to stay home and not work, cause there is always something else to be done in the house...

I never get a vacation cause I can't afford one being out of work...
My husband works extra to take care of me...
So I feel like I am a kind of burden...

No Yahoo! Answers IS the meaning of life. This is exactly why the universe exists... and it sure took a long time to get to this point.

(Seriously though, I know the feeling you mean.... I've felt it myself form time to time ever since childhood. Kinda like all this is merely a facade and something much bigger is going on just out of reach.)

yes I do but not as much as I used to.
I think a lot of us are selfish and lazy, if we don't like something we have the power to change it. I look at what I do have like my health and stuff, some people can't even see or hear some can't walk or speak. we're all very lucky. and as far as heaven and all that yes, it's way more than this could ever be.

Yes...Life is mysterious and even I ask myself whats my purpose. I believe that there is more than what meets the eye. Sometimes you get a feel of it, a glimpse of something that lets you wonder and makes you aware that there is a reason for everything. And there is the sixth sense and the gut instinct! How can you explain that.

No, I think it is beautiful and perfect but humans do a lot to make life difficult for themselves and others. I do however, love that song sung by Peggy Lee..."Is That All There Is." "If that's all there is my friend then lets keep dancing....and bring out the booze and have a ball...."

yup. I want to just do something interesting with my life but I end up doing the same thing everyday. I find excuses too like "I'll do that tomorrow" or "I got my whole life ahead of me". It's a boring life if you working from paycheck to paycheck.

Yes; the Buddhist philosophy talks about that feeling as a natural part of being human (part of the human condition).
But Joycee's right; when you've got a lot of drama going on, you don't feel that way!!
