i was trying to get something to print and my printer is broken so you have to nudge it along. My hand is jammed in there. is there a button i can press to shoot it out. It is a hp printer/scanner. the paper loads through the bottom not the top. I have a date in an hour so time is of the essence please help.

i can NOT get to a toolkit or manual because i am wired to my PC.

Well, I'm sorry to doubt you, but your grammar, capitalization, spelling, etc. are better than many people here who are using both hands to type.

I'm not sure how you jammed it, but I'm guessing from the paper end? I see two options, pull nice and hard (the wheels inside my HP printer can go backwards when necessary) or find a toolkit and get to work.
Sorry that that's the extent of my answer, but I've never really seen this problem before.

Maybe you'll get lucky and your date will be having the same problem. With your dates help, you could put the printer in a back pack and just have your hand behind your back. Then you can help her do the same.

try hitting the cancel button, if not get a screwdriver and remove the paper loading assembily. Good luck. Oh and in the back there could be a reset button or a hole. try that.

no specific button -as far as i know- to get our stuck hand from pinter. turn your printer off and use force. any tool around you as stick - i know how hard it is. so, good luck.
