Well, since you've answered your own question, let me deal with the one behind your answer. Coaches don't always play everybody, and sometimes the best warm the bench. I know, I did. But the answer's the same, don't get pist, get ready. Every warm up, every practice, be there. Support the team, give your best...every time. The coach may still not get the message, but there'll be other teams and times. Check out Willie Parker's college career...and now his NFL stats. One final thought...if your coach has an open door, use it. Tell him how you feel and make sure he knows you're ready to give your best.

You should be pissed, but turn your anger out on the basketball court. It doesn't matter how much playing time you get. Whenever you are out there, show the coach what kind of production he is missing every minute he benches you. I started off on the bench for my high school team for an entire year. I did my best every time I got put in. Eventually I got more minutes and then the starting spot. If your coach is good, he will recognize your potential and give you the time to develop.

Well, keep playing, and if you really are better than the A-team the coach will realize it soon. Just do the best you can with what playing time you get, and soon enough you'll be getting more and more as the coach learns he can rely on you in games.

If I had a nickle for every coach I ever had that sucked, I would be a very wealthy man.

Being pissed won't accomplish anything. My advice is to make the most of your opportunities both in practice and during the games. Play aggressively and play your game.

Na, practice and play in the summer till b-ball season starts again. Improve your quickness and agaility because thats the best way to get on the starting 5. play in a summer league also its a great way to see that you serious... if your mad, keep it inside and use it as strenght for motovation.

the way to solve that is to prove yourself to everyone else and especially to your coach..do well in practice--show them what you can really do and how dedicated you are in playing and improving your play..being benched is tough to handle but there are a lot of bench players who have stepped op their game and eventually are better than some of the starters...and also, you have got to earn your coach's trust! show him you could handle everything.. in that way, he would be confident in giving you some extra playing time...

Goodluck! :-)

No just keep proving yourself in practice, and when you do get your chance, you will be ready and the coach will know that he should of played you more.

you should be pissed but the only way you are going to start is if you really wow the coach. its alway harder to get a job than it is to keep it.

perhaps-ask the coach for a private meeting-tell him/her your issue, without getting emotional,or confrontive, perhaps you will resolve the issue.
