actions speak louder than words

It depends on the situation. If someone says "Trust me, it won't hurt a bit" and they want me to jump off a bridge, well then I wouldn't trust them. But if it was of a life experience that I knew they went thru and they said trust me, I would. It also depends on how much I trust in them to begin with.

no, trust is a thing that is built over time. you cant trust anybody by those words immediately, i dont expect you to trust me on my answer because you dont know me but let me tell you that i had a bad history concerning trust. my friends said "trust me" then i told them my secret. the next day my secret was all over class.

you can trust a person if you know them by heart, their personality and such. i have a friend who i really trust and she never ever says my secret to anyone.

Remember that trust is built over time not through assurance words

It really depends on "WHO" is saying that. If I know him , I will judge on his past behaviors/acts and decide whether to trust him or not.
If I am meeting someone first-time/ second time, for example a "sales person" say "Trust Me".....I really don't trust him.
