Ok i really was going to let you have it till i read more...... But yeah Kobe doesn't even rate to wipe MJ's nutts and @ss! Michael Jordan went against -- Bird, Magic, Thomas, Dumars, Rodman, the whole Bad Boys from Detroit, the NY Knicks w/ Ewing, Starks, Oak, Mason, also players like Barkely, Hakeem, Robinson, Kemp, Reggie, Mutambo, The Cavs..... in other words he went against the best when flagerent fouls were regular fouls and he went hard core against the best ever in the game.... Jesus Christ KOBE!! he doesn't play in an enviorment like Jordan did.

There is no way Kobe could be better than MJ, even from a talent stand point. Mj was the ultimate winner because he sacrificed his individual play for championships. Kobe could never claim that. He might try to emulate Jordan with his tongue and demeanor on the court, but as far as the heart goes, he is nowhere close nor will he ever be. Kobe is good, but when the comparisons to MJ comes up, he needs to get his mind right.

Kobe isn't even in MJ's zip code. He will never win a title on a team where he is the primary superstar. Even if basketball were a one-on-one game, I'd take Jordan over Kobe any day. My most vivid memory of Jordan was in game were he was about to take a shot and was swarmed by a crowd of defenders. You couldn't even see Michael because of all the defenders and I thought for sure they would call a jump ball. Then all of sudden here comes this shot straight up out of the mob, swish, nothin' but net. That's clutch and something Kobe just doesn't have.

Kobe will never be able to be better than MJ because MJ brought the world basketball. I remember hearing a saying that there are two most common known people in the world; "Jesus Christ" and "Michael Jordan". He brought the fans in with his high flying dunks and individual efforts and team play. If it was not for him in the 1992 Barcelona Olympics, then basketball would not be as popular as it is today. We would not have seen Yao Ming, Dirk, Manu, Parker, etc. if it wasn't for Jordan.
What about clutch? Jordan's shot over Ehlo, the shot that broke the heart and soul of Jazz fans.
One on One, Jordan would take Kobe out.

Kobe is good but there is no way he could be better than Mj.. I mean, Mj is...MJ! arguably the best basketball player of all time..plus Kobe doesnt have the heart of a champion..he is,at times, selfish, tends to get so proud and he cant even maintain a good relationship with his teammates or coach..

NEVER! Kobe is just too proud, he thinks he's great but.. not really. It's his attitude. Mike won 6 titles with only Scottie Pippen as the other superstar. Kobe can't even win one when he's got Shaq, Payton, and Malone. Besides, Phil Jackson never called MJ "uncoachable"

No. Surely he won't. I agree he's a good player but no one (waybe Lebron or Wade) will ever be considered better than His Airness. Besides he's arrogant and selfish.
