Ever notice when you wash pants, the groin area always seem to fade first? Why does this happen? It's not as though that particular area is made of different material or exposed to more friction, sunlight, wear, etc. So why does the groin area of the pants fade faster than any other area in the pants?

ahhh but you are wrong there in your thinking, material in the groin area is under a lot of wear, friction, rubbing, etc they are not really fading as you put it this is wearing thin in that area, it will soon be time to either repair or replace those pants, sorry to disagree with you but this is a fact.

Haven't noticed that myself. Perhaps you have a sub-conscious scratching problem?
